Cool New Old Stock Vintage Buckeye Bicycle Bag for Vintage Raleigh 3 Speeds, Old School Schwinn Bicycles, Antique Cruisers, Fixies, Single Speed Fixed Gear Machines, Road Bikes, Touring Rides, Mary Poppins bike etc... . Cool Touring Bag for you Tools, Keys, Cell Phones, Stuff, Etc.... This Buckeye Bag is an Unique shape to fit under your saddle. It is approximately 8 1/2" wide - about 6" tall - about 5" deep at the top and about 6" deep at the bottom. The Bag is made with black Vinyl with a cloth back and has red piping. The Bag is Nice although the straps are only fair. The Bag has seven buckle straps, two for bag closure, two for pocket closure and three for attachment to the bike. The 2 top attachment straps are 1/2" wide and approx 4" apart to attaches to seat rails, springs, Handlebars etc... It also has one back strap for extra hold, used for the seat post on back an possibly a stem on the front. Anyone clever can find other mounting options. I assume this bag from the 1970s possibly the 1980s when Touring Bikes were super popular. Raleigh, Brooks, and Schwinn made bags like this, this is a copy of those, made in Taiwan. Bag is a nice addition to New and Vintage Brooks, Gyes, Persons, Troxel, and Mesinger Leather Saddles. The Vinyl is still pretty soft and Supple for it's age, but may show slight age, have slight staining, rust, or have fold memory as the bag has been folded for around 50 years. Hack: I would suggest putting the bag in the sun or applying some heat with a hair dryer to the bag to help the bag regain it's shape. Be Careful with the heat not to burn the bag or yourself.
